John Babcock began his career in 1973 with N.B. Handy Company in Raleigh, NC. He was appointed manager in 1976 at 26 years old. In 1980 a local commercial roofing company hired him to open their Norfolk, VA location as Vice President. Three years later he was appointed to President, he continued in the contracting field. In 1989 John and Gary Rogacki opened Roof Services Corporation (RSC) in Virginia Beach, VA. Later expanding and opening a second office in Richmond, VA in 1998
Mr. Babcock is the managing partner of RSC, he is responsible for all financial functions and decisions for the company. He oversees all the estimating for both public and private work for the Virginia Beach office. He also oversees the Richmond, VA locations.
Gary’s career started in the Roofing industry as an apprentice in his hometown of Buffalo, NY in 1977. After successful completion of a three-year apprenticeship, he worked as a foreman running projects ranging up to $1.2 million and managed up to a 22-man crew. In 1985 Gary accepted and a position as Vice President for a local roofing company in Virginia Beach, VA. Four years later Gary along with John Babcock opened Roof Services Corporation (RSC) in Virginia Beach, VA. Later expanding and opening a second office in Richmond, VA in 1998.
At RSC Gary is responsible for overseeing operations of the Sheet Metal, Composite Metal and Operations Department. Project Management as well as some sales responsibilities.

He is responsible for the supervision of daily job site operations, producing production reports, job cost analyst and maintaining our safety program. In addition to his responsibilities at Roof Service he is also a dedicated member for Alpha Lambda Delta, National Honor Society, Golden Key, Alpha Chi, Pi Gamma u, Sigma Alpha Chi, Phi Kappa Phi. Furthermore, he has been Honorable Discharged from the United States Navy in 1985.
Howard H. Jordan serves as Controller of Roof Services, Inc. Within this role In that role, he manages all the accounting, payroll and finance operations of the business.Read More
Mr. Jordan graduated from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has previously served as a board member of the Children’s Museum of Virginia, RBC Centura Bank advisory board, and a member of the Merrimac Kiwanis Club of Portsmouth, Virginia. He currently serves on the Hoffler Creek Wildlife Preserve Foundation board.

Mr. Boyd entered the roofing business in 1981 as a project manager/estimator for a small residential/commercial roofing company in Hampton, VA. From 1985 to 1990 he was employed as an estimator, sales manager, and general manager of a large commercial roof contractor in Virginia Beach.
From 1990 through 1992, he opened and managed a branch office for Roof Consultants of Virginia, Inc. headquartered in Richmond, VA. Responsibilities included roof inspections and evaluations, non-destructive testing, infra-red surveys, specification writing, construction management, and roof design. Robert managed and executed the Facilities Condition Inspection program (FCI) for the Naval Engineering Facility Command (NAVFAC) during the 1990’s. This involved roof inspections and assessments of navy shore facilities around the world for long range maintenance planning.
In 1989, he was elected to the Board of Directors for the Virginia Association of Roofing Contractors (VARC) by his roofing peers. He served on the board for three years and held the position of Committee Chairman for Education. He has also served on the Roof Consultants Advisory Council for Firestone Building Products in 1995 and 1996. In 1995, he was invited to serve on the Butler Roof Division Consultant Advisory Council.
In 2002, he re-entered the roof contracting business by taking over as Manager of the Maintenance Division of Roof Services Corporation.

Rob started his career directly after graduating high school at Oscar Smith with an asbestos and lead abatement company. In 1999 he joined the Roof Services Corporation’s Service Department as an apprentice. Quickly attaining the title of foreman, where he ran several large-scale projects. In addition to all roof, coating projects.
Rob is on the Board of Members of the Virginia Associations of Roofing Professional (VARP). He is also an active member of the Booster Club for both Oscar Smith and Norfolk State University baseball. In addition, he is the Assistant Varsity Coach for Oscar Smith H.S.

Mr. Rice began his career with us in 2008 bringing with him six (6) year’s experience as a sheet metal mechanic, within two years’ time he had worked his way to being a sheet metal foreman in the field.
